Fun in Cheonan

This is a large and beautiful park situated below Taejosan Mountain in Yuryang-dong. Established in 1987, Taejosan Park is regarded as a place of culture and relaxation, along with Cheonan Three-Way Intersection Park. It is considered an ideal picnic spot for families, who can enjoy a small lake called Taejoho as well as a beautiful sculpture park, basketball court, foot volleyball court, observatory, and trails leading to Taejosan Mountain.
It is also equipped with an artificial rock climbing center and fitness training facilities. Inside the park, there are “statues of the Cheonan people” depicting patriotic martyrs who sacrificed their lives for their country and its people. At the Grass Square, there are displays of combat planes and cars used by the armed forces, a memorial monument honoring the officers of the Cheonanham ship, and a model of the Cheonanham ship.
