National Treasure Stele for the Construction of Bongseonhonggyeongsa Temple Image2

The Bongseonhonggyeongsa Temple was built in 1021 (12th year of King Hyeonjong) during the period of Goryeo. Hyeonjong added "Bongseon," which means that he accepted the will of his father Anjong. The temple site holds the national treasure Stele for the Construction of Bongseonhonggyeongsa Temple with inscription of records regarding the establishment of the temple.
